Hybrid Accounts – Enniscorthy/Carlow/Kilkenny

Purcelloleary have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager based between County Kilkenny and Wexford.

 

The successful candidate should be an assertive hands-on person with an ability to work on their own initiative and will have the support of a supportive  manager.

 

Working within the 4 person Account Manager / Accounts Receivable team, and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the key duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

 

  • Manage collections according to the company’s credit policy

 

  • Liaison with customers, sales representatives and the customer Service team to achieve collection targets

 

  • Timely and effective processing of related transactions

 

  • Credit validation of new customers

 

  • Resolution of credit related issues

 

  • Negotiation of set offs directly with customers

 

  • Credit note administration in accordance with policy

 

  • Drive improvements in processes, policies and targets

 

  • Participation at sales review meetings

 

  • Production of month end statements

 

  • Liaison with external auditors in relation to accounts receivable

 

Skills Required for the Account Manager

 

  • 2 years minimum in a similar role.

 

  • Strong computer literacy

 

  • Experience with SAP desirable but not essential

 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

 

  • Ability to multitask and work accurately and effectively

 

 

  • Be flexible and a team player.
