Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager
· Lead and oversee the finance team’s (3 direct reports) daily operations, ensuring the continuity of financial processes
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
· Ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors on audit & corporate taxation
· Manage Monthly management accounts and monthly/weekly variance analysis & operational KPIs
· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain stability and compliance.
· Support the organization’s strategic initiatives and decision-making with insightful financial guidance
· Ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met – PAYE, VAT, CT, CSO, CRO returns
· Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies, standards, and government regulations.
Qualifications for the Finance Manager role:
· Accountancy Qualification or similar.
· Proven experience (3-5 years) in finance management or a senior finance role.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
· Proficiency in financial software; advanced Excel skills are essential.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills to maintain team cohesion and liaise effectively.
· A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
· Detail-oriented approach and dedication to maintaining financial accuracy.
