Purcelloleary Recruitment with The Enniscorthy Forum are recruiting for the position of CEO based in Enniscorthy.
The Enniscorthy Forum are a non-governmental organization (NGO) established to support the United Nations sustainable development agenda.
The initial focus of the NGO’s work will be institutional development which will be a key driver in reducing carbon emissions in the built environment and providing training for the construction industry in the National Development Plan.
The preferred candidate will have experience in public affairs, politics, management and communications.
The role of the CEO:
You will be responsible for the coordination of interactive global networks working to advance research, industry case studies and UN sustainable building strategy on advanced buildings in the built environment.
The ability to operate at both senior and grassroots levels, with the public sector, private sector, a diverse range of professionals and community leaders will be essential to success.
Your role will include work on the built environment that will expand to include sustainable energy more broadly, related diplomacy, and community level engagement and education.
Coordination, facilitation, outreach and project management will also be part of the role
Financial management and the ability to manage, analyse and review finances are also a prerequisite for this role
Requirements for the CEO:
International experience is not a prerequisite, but the ability to translate global objectives into local practice in a diverse world is.
Detailed knowledge of the Enniscorthy and County Wexford communities, their goals and aspirations, channels for outreach at both community and national governance is vital.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse, international inclusive environment.
5 years plus experience in a similar role where you have demonstrated organisational, management and financial skills are required.
Knowledge of Political affairs is also a requirement.
